Science fiction genre is speculative in nature, dealing with our perceptions of the bigger and better future, advanced technologies, aliens, time travel and other fantasies. The films in this genre also tend to make a statement about current political or social issues by projecting them forward hundreds of years. It’s a fascinating category of films that attempts to understand and seek truth by taking the viewer out of their own context.
The synthesis of SciFi and Film became the main symbol for this campaign. The campaign incorporates bright neon colors and large floods of black. The campaign elements are carried throughout all of the pieces with a very distinctive, technologically-inclined, futuristic mood. The design also represents the curiosity, the uncertainty and the excitement of discovery. The campaign consists of a poster, postcard, set of 10 DVD cases, schedule and two types of tickets.
